Competent Person Training for Trenches & Excavations

This program provides an exhaustive review of OSHA 29 CFR Subpart P, the Excavations standard.  While it is the employer who actually assigns / identifies the Competent Person, this training is designed to enhance the understanding and application of safe trenching and excavation work.  This may be customized to meet the client’s needs, but normally takes three (3) days to complete.
 

16-Hour SSTA (Southwest Safety Training Alliance) Training

The SSTA training curricula were developed to provide standardized safety training for the purpose of improving safety awareness and performance on the job site.  Both Construction and General Industry programs are offered.  16 hours of class time are required to complete this training and each successful participant will receive an OSHA 10-Hour card in either Construction or General Industry (curriculum specific) as well as the highly coveted SSTA 16-Hour card.  The SSTA card must be renewed every three (3) years.
 

8-Hour SSTA (Southwest Safety Training Alliance) Refresher Training

This is the refresher program offered to update the three (3) year training requirement of the SSTABoth Construction and General Industry programs are offered.  8 hours of class time are required to complete this training and each successful participant will receive the SSTA 8-Hour Refresher card.
 

10-Hour OSHA General Industry Outreach Training

This program covers basic safety topics in the OSHA 29 CFR 1910 standard.  10 hours of class time are required to complete this training and each successful participant will receive an OSHA 10-Hour card in General Industry.
 

30-Hour OSHA General Industry Outreach Training

This program covers basic safety topics in the OSHA 29 CFR 1910 standard.  30 hours of class time are required to complete this training and each successful participant will receive an OSHA 30-Hour card in General Industry.
 

10-Hour OSHA Construction Outreach Training

This program covers basic safety topics in the OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standard.  10 hours of class time are required to complete this training and each successful participant will receive an OSHA 10-Hour card in Construction.
 

30-Hour OSHA Construction Outreach Training

This program covers basic safety topics in the OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standard.  30 hours of class time are required to complete this training and each successful participant will receive an OSHA 30-Hour card in Construction.
 

10-Hour OSHA Maritime Industry Outreach Training

This program covers basic safety topics in the OSHA 29 CFR 1915 (Shipyard Employment, including ship repairing, shipbuilding, shipbreaking), 1917 (Marine Terminals), & 1918 (Longshoring) standards.  10 hours of class time are required to complete this training and each successful participant will receive an OSHA 10-Hour card in Maritime Industry.
 

30-Hour OSHA Maritime Industry Outreach Training

This program covers basic safety topics in the OSHA 29 CFR 1915 (Shipyard Employment, including ship repairing, shipbuilding, shipbreaking), 1917 (Marine Terminals), & 1918 (Longshoring) standards.  30 hours of class time are required to complete this training and each successful participant will receive an OSHA 30-Hour card in Maritime Industry.
