Hazardous Materials / HAZWOPER

Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response (HAZWOPER)

Developed in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120, this program may be modified to support the unique challenges of the environment / work site.  Our instructors are in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120, the directives governing trainer qualifications.  All levels of HAZWOPER are available:

• Skilled Support Personnel (i.e. mechanized earth moving or digging equipment or crane and hoisting equipment)
• Specialist Employees (i.e. technical advice or assistance at a hazardous substance release incident)
• First Responder Awareness Level
• First Responder Operations Level (at least 8 hours of training)
• Hazardous Materials Technician (at least 24 hours of training)
• Hazardous Materials Specialist (at least 24+ hours of training)
• On Scene Incident Commander (at least 24+ hours of training plus 8 hour supervisor program)
• Refresher Training (8 hour annual training)

The “HAZWOPER 40-Hour Program” is routinely taught to new employees and can be made available on any schedule to support your needs.
